Second Day in New Zealand

My stay with Ken & Lisa was over far to soon but I’ll catch up with them again when they come to Perth at the end of the month.
I headed off to Tirau on my way to Rotorua. Ken & Lisa had pointed out some places to visit on the way. I found this aluminium statue at a rest area, which I thought was really good. It’s by an artist called Lewis Gardiner who usually carves pounamu (jade).

I stopped at Waiariki to see crystal clear spring, 4,500,000 litres of water each hour flowing out of the ground at a constant 10 degrees C.
