Jen Crossley Workshop

It was good to be a student for a change. My friend Merryl and I booked into a coupe of workshops at the Scraptivate Store in Perth with Jen Crossley. The first was making a brass bezel to which an image was added and then filled with resin. The second was etching brass sheets for book covers.

Metal Clay Art Studio at Gifted Sale

A group of 10 artists have a sale at this time of the year. Each of us has an area in Elizabeth Morley’s home. We set up our displays and friends and family are invited to look and buy.

More Zentangles and Doodles

I’m still playing around with Zentangles. It is quite relaxing and I can get out my visual diary in the evening and unwind with a few ink doodles on paper. There’s heaps of information on the web. I’ve downloaded a few instruction diagrams and have a go following them and then incorporating them into my own designs.

I’ve been drawing them onto polymer clay as well and they have been very popular at the couple of venues I’ve been to recently.

Whale Watching

Alan, Jackie, Sue and myself went on a ‘Whale Watch’ cruise out on Mindarie Marina. The boat went about 10kms off shore. We saw many humpback whales, it was awesome. Here are some of the photos.
