Chloe the joey spreads joy
This is Jasmine, my friend Alison's daughter. She is so brave. Alison & Jas have spent the last nine months at the Roland McDonald House and Princess Margaret Hospital in Perth. They have had to leave their home, dogs and horses in the care of neighbour's and friends while Jas has to stay close to the hospital. It's wonderful to see Jas have happy moments with the joey. The photos are courtesy from Perth Now.

Moora Fine Arts Winter School
Moora Fine Art Society have a winter school each year, where students can join two or three day classes in a variety of subjects. This year some of the classes on offer were digital photography, felting, ceramics and sculptural basketry with Nalda Searles. I tutored a two day class on Silver Metal Clay jewellery. The response was very good with 14 students and some missed out and will be first inline next time. None of the group had worked with metal clay before but they produced some amazing work and I'm sure some of them will be using metal clay in the future.
Here are some of the photos from the class:
The eye is amazing. This dichroic glass cabachon was effectively used by Hildy Apel.
