Copper Clay

I've been doing a Metal Clay course at the Mid Cornwall School of Jewellery with Lisa Cain. I had met Lisa and her talented partner Robert Dancik at the USA PMC Conference 2008 in July. They asked me to look them up whenever I visited Cornwall. This week Lisa received the first batch of a new copper clay to arrive in the UK. It's still at the expermental stage and wont be released onto the market for sometime yet as Bill Struve makes any adjustments after receiving feedback from people like Lisa who are trialling the product.

Lisa has been so generous in asking me to have a play with the clay. It's ben good to be part of the pioneering stage of this new product. I cant wait to see the reults as they come out of the kiln. I'll post some pics next time.

Pam, just one look at your beaming face tells me you had a ball. I'm really enjoying your blog, nice to be able to see what's happening on your hols before you're even home! Can't wait to hear your report of your copper clay experiments.

Just found this. Now I know where your jewellery course was and why you were in the UK!
